material practise

I am currently practicing how to make my own textures. the first texture, I haven't got a clue what it is.

material-03 was created, when I was messing around with the setting for the smart material 'gold armor'
material-04 is a copy of material-03 but with a fractured effect to create the idea of a broken gem.
